【摘要】:Thismethodisanextractionprocedurethat,whenusedinconjunctionwithUOPMethod959,allowsthedeterminationofammoniainliquidhydrocarbonstreams.Othernitrogenspecies,ifpresent,arenotdetectedbythismethod.Thisprocedureyieldsquantitativeresultsandhasbeentestedintherangeofapproximately0.5to10mass-ppmammonia.HigherconcentrationscanbedeterminedbydilutionoftheaqueousextractasnotedinUOPMethod959,orbyperformingtheextractionusingalargervolumeofwaterand/orasmallersamplesize(preferrediftheammonialevelcanbeestimated).
